Among the archaeological remains exhibited at the Museum we highlight the interesting collection of Prehistoric metallic pieces, the three stelae of warriors, the “Plaque of Ecija” (an exceptional piece of Tartessian precious metal work), magnificent Roman mosaics and sculptures such as the “Wounded Amazon” and the interesting collections of inscriptions, capitals, mosaics or diverse domestic use material from Roman and Islamic periods.

DESCRIPTION:
This Museum houses a large collection of gold-and silverwork from the XVIIIth century.
It includes plates, cloths, lecterns, sacrae (these where pages containing preying or different parts of the mass that where put on the altar to make the priest’s performance easier at the mass), paintings, sculptures, furniture, cornucopias, fonts, bells, crosses, chalices, monstrances, trays, altars and glasses.
A lectern or “Shokendai” of Namban style made in Japan during the Momoyama period stands out, as well as a Processioning Monstrance made of gilded silver by Francisco de Alfaro Hernandez from Seville in 1586.

This is a Signorial House with the original furniture and decoration from the XVIIIth and XIXth centuries.
Halls and Rooms have coffered ceilings and Mudejar pavement from the XVIIIth century.
It has patios (yards) and stables.

It is placed at the church’s yard and shows a collection of Prehistoric, Roman and Islamic archaeological remains.
One of the most valuable pieces is Germanicus’ head in marble from the Roman period.
